CARYL S. BALSKUS graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut in 1992 and received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1995. Since 1995 she has practiced law primarily in the area of Family Law, including Divorce, Custody and Support matters and is a Certified Divorce Mediator. Attorney Balskus is a member and past president of the Tolland County Bar Association, a member of the Tolland County Standing Committee and serves in Tolland Superior Court as a Special Master and Attorney Trial Referee. TIMOTHY J. JOHNSTON graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1975. Prior to joining Balskus & Johnston, LLC, he had a solo law practice in Vernon for 42 years. His areas of focus are helping individuals obtain Social Security Disability Benefits, representing both landlords and tenants in Summary Process actions, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Law, Family Law, Probate and General Practice Law. He has served on the Connecticut Bar Association's Pro Bono Committee. He is a past president of the Tolland County Bar Association.
